Kudelski Security, a leading cybersecurity company, is proud to announce its role as a co-founder of the League of Entropy, a global network of servers that generate and distribute high-quality randomness for the internet. The League of Entropy relies on the drand protocol, software developed and maintained by Randamu, a software publisher specializing in cryptographic solutions.
Randomness is essential for many applications on the internet, such as cryptography, online gaming, lotteries, and blockchain. However, generating and distributing randomness in a secure and reliable way is challenging, especially in a decentralized setting where malicious actors may try to manipulate or disrupt the process.
To address this challenge, Kudelski Security joined forces with other organizations, such as Cloudflare, Protocol Labs, and the University of Chile, to create the League of Entropy in 2019.
